Online workshop: “Negotiating, and coping with, changes in universities”

Hosted by the Senior Researchers’ Committee on Thursday 4th September, 10-12 am.

EventsSCRs

The Senior Researchers’ Committee will be hosting an online workshop entitled “Negotiating, and coping with, changes in universities”.   This is planned to take place online on Thursday 4th September, 10-12 am.  It is aimed to be relevant to everyone – including (and perhaps especially) mid and early career researchers, and other staff.

The workshop offers an opportunity to understand situations, provide moral support and also practical suggestions (where possible) – and to discuss internal and external factors that may have an impact on both well being and career. Please Phil Elliott to book a place (or with any queries) at philelliott@nhs.net

The workshop will discuss possible options and issues relating to both work and life and exploring the topic in a supportive way. We will also be sharing experiences of committee members and others.

The workshop is planned to be followed by an informal ‘meet the senior researchers’’ committee meeting in-person event at the conference in Bradford and details of this will be available in the near future.

Members of all stages are invited to attend, and we look forward to welcoming anyone who would like to do so.

Please note that this workshop is open only to Society Members.
