SSM Committee Meeting January 2020

The SSM Committee is taking place on the 10th January 2020 at UCL in London.

We welcome Kate Hunt, University of Stirling as the new SSM president and thank Hazel Inskip our past president for her efforts steering the committee.

As part of the agenda, we cover updates from all our sub-committees: Early Career Researchers (Chair Kate O’Neill), Mid Carrer Researchers (Co-Chairs Selina Visram and Emily Petherick), Senior Researchers (Chair Janis Baird) and Communications (Chair Dorina Cadar). We also review finances and membership (Honorary Treasurer Anna Pearce), external relation and co-operative action (Chair Catherine Hayes), the liaison with other societies such as the European Public Health Association (Liasion Officer Alaistair Leyland), International Epidemiological Association (Liaison Officer Ivan Perry), mentoring (Hazel Inskip and Rebecca Lacey).
