Events Officer
I am a Lecturer in Public Health at Oxford Brookes University, UK. I have an interdisciplinary background in Sociology and Health Sciences, and my research interests include the social determinants of health, digital health and healthcare experiences in resource-limited and marginalised settings. My PhD explored how people living in slums in Nigeria used lay consultation (talking to informal network members such as neighbours, friends and family members about illness and health concerns) to make treatment decisions. I am excited to work with the wider ECR committee as Events Officer for this year.
