I am a Professor of Public Health Medicine in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at the University of Cambridge and Director of the Cambridge Institute of Public Health. My research focuses on the public health of ageing and I pioneered the study of dementia in the population studies. I am a medically qualified epidemiologist and public health academic.
