Read the first newsletter of 2022!

As always, the newsletter starts with a letter from the SSM president. This issue features the first letter from Catherine Hayes who looks back on the two year anniversary of the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The main committee, ECR and SCR sections introduce the new 2022 members. There are still opportunities to get involved with the society as a committee member or as a mentor- further details are in the newsletter.

Upcoming events featured in the newsletter include an SSM ECR event in early June on working outside of traditional academic roles and the next Annual Scientific Meeting, hosted by the University of Exeter from the 6th-9th of September 2022.
