Abstract submission now open! Society for Social Medicine & Population Health 69th Annual Conference: 10-12th September 2025, Bradford

Abstract submission

We are pleased to announce that Abstract Submission is now live for the Society for Social Medicine Annual Scientific meeting in Bradford on Wednesday 10th – Friday 12th September 2025.

This year’s meeting will be hosted by Bradford Institute for Health Research and located at the Midland Hotel in Bradford.

The conference covers a range of subjects including epidemiology, the medical and health needs of society, health services, and the prevention of disease. We welcome research that addresses important issues in population health sciences and includes qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods approaches. The deadline for abstracts is 23:59 (GMT), Monday 24 February 2025.

Free place applications

We are also delighted to announce that there are a number of free and subsidised members’ places available at the SSM annual conference for students or others with low level incomes. Non-members may apply to become members and then become eligible to make a free place application. SSM offers ECRs their second year of membership free, upon validation of their ECR status by the subcommittee chair.

The deadline to apply for a free place is 23:59 (GMT), Monday 3 March 2025.
