I am Research Fellow and Project Coordinator for the FUEL Study (Food Provision, Culture and Environment in Secondary Schools). This is a mixed-methods study to evaluate the implementation of national school food standards in secondary schools and their impact on the school food environment and pupil intake of free sugars. Prior to this, I undertook a PhD exploring the factors associated with childhood obesity for ethnic groups in Coventry. I also have a keen interest in food choice architecture in school settings. I have been on the Society newsletter team for four years and also act as a representative for early career researchers at the University of Birmingham.
