Lucy Griffiths

Organises the SSM Committee meetings and provides oversight of the Constitution. Lucy’s research focuses on the determinants of health and health-related behaviours in young people. She uses survey and administrative information collected about children and young people, to study a range of individual, social and environmental circumstances that may affect health and health behaviours in these populations. She currently works with the Nuffield Family Justice Observatory; Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre; Health Data Research UK Wales and Northern Ireland; and Administrative Data Research Wales. She is delighted to be involved with the SSM MCR Subcommittee to advocate for MCR needs and, in particular, looks forward to contributing to the development of the SSM Mentoring Scheme.
