Kate Mason

I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Health Inequalities Policy Research group at the University of Liverpool. My research interests are in social and geographical health inequalities, and applying quantitative methods to understand how individual, social and environmental factors combine to influence physical and mental health. My PhD focussed on how neighbourhood built environments influence obesity in the UK, examining in particular how this might vary for different people and in different places. Following a few years on the newsletter team, I’m now Communications Officer on the ECR subcommittee.
