Gilberte Martine-Edith

I am a PhD researcher in Epidemiology and Public Health at the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences, Loughborough University. My PhD focuses on the different treatment types for gestational diabetes and their relationships with maternal and child health. My research interests include the physiological and pathological changes during pregnancy, the developmental origins of adult disease, and how this evidence can be used to inform clinical practice and support maternal and child health care services. I am delighted to be part of the SSM newsletter team by contributing to the production and preparation of feature articles for publication.
