Gemma Sharp

I am a senior lecturer in molecular epidemiology at the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit at the University of Bristol. My research interests include women’s reproductive health, the developmental origins of health and disease, and using molecular data in epidemiological study designs. I co-direct an MSc in Reproduction and Development and co-lead a unit on the molecular epidemiology of noncommunicable diseases as part of an MSc in Epidemiology. I’m quite new to SSM and am really looking forward to learning more about the society, the MCR Subcommittee and helping to support MCRs.
