ECR Subcommittee Chair Elect
Liaising with the Cahir in coordinating the ECR Subcommittee. I am a PhD candidate at the University of Glasgow’s MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit. As a dietitian I engaged with many individuals experiencing disadvantage and I was keen to explore this further through my PhD research. My research aims to estimate if there is a causal association between maternal diet in pregnancy and their child’s risk of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The second part of my PhD research is measuring any evidence of health inequalities in this relationship. As the engagement and welfare officer of the ECR subcommittee, I hope to promote issues related to the wellbeing of ECR and work towards increasing engage of our SSM ECR members.
