Networking Platform Officer
I am a PhD candidate in the Population Health Sciences Institute at Newcastle University. My background is on epidemiology and nutrition and dietetics. For my PhD project, I examine the associations of poor oral health with age-related health outcomes (i.e. disability, physical function) in older people in the UK and USA. Prior to this PhD, I completed an MSc on Epidemiology and Public Health at Wageningen University, Netherlands. As a Networking Platform officer, I hope to contribute in connecting SSM members, especially ECR’s, with similar research interests and help build relationships and collaborations.
